The nitrogen oxide in nitric acid production tail gas is absorbed by soda ash solution to obtain the neutralization liquid, and then the neutralization liquid is sent into the converter, and the nitric acid is added to oxidize sodium nitrite into sodium nitrate. Sodium nitrate was prepared by neutralizing the free acid in the transformed solution with soda ash solution, evaporating at atmospheric pressure, cooling crystallization, centrifugal separation and drying. Or use slightly acid and soda or caustic soda reaction to get sodium nitrate. Also can use the ion exchange method, with NaCI and NH4 NOa as raw materials, respectively prepared into a certain content of solution, through the ion exchange resin bed, sodium nitrate and ammonium chloride solution, and then respectively for concentration, cooling crystallization, centrifugal separation, drying, packaging, sodium nitrate and ammonium chloride products.
