Sodium nitrate is a kind of inorganic salt, the chemical formula is NaNO3, white solid powder, also known as Chile saltpeter or Peru saltpeter (less common). Its aqueous solution is neutral and the pH is about 6.7~7.3.
Sodium nitrate is a colorless transparent or white microstrip yellow diamond crystal.
