PAC Polyaluminium Chloride 25 KG / BAG Used As Flocculant In Water Treatment
The liquid product of polyaluminium chloride is a light yellow to brownish-yellow suspension, and the solid product is a light yellow or orange-yellow crystalline powder. It is composed of a series of inorganic polymer compounds with different degrees of polymerization and has the optimal morphological distribution. It is a water purification material, an inorganic high-molecular coagulant, also known as polyaluminum, with the English abbreviation PAC. It is an inorganic high-molecular water treatment agent with a large molecular weight and high charge, produced due to the bridging effect of hydroxide ions and the polymeric effect of multivalent anions. In terms of form, it can be divided into two types: solid and liquid. Solids are further classified by color into brownish, beige, golden yellow and white. Liquids can be colorless and transparent, slightly yellow, light yellow to yellowish brown. Different colors of polyaluminum chloride also have great differences in application and production technology.

The raw materials of yellow polyaluminium chloride are calcium aluminate powder, hydrochloric acid and bauxite. It is mainly used in sewage treatment and drinking water treatment. The raw materials for drinking water treatment are aluminium hydroxide powder, hydrochloric acid and a small amount of calcium aluminate powder. The adopted process is plate and frame filter press process or spray drying process. For the treatment of drinking water, the state has strict requirements regarding heavy metals. Therefore, both the raw materials and the production process are superior to those of brownish polyaluminium chloride. Yellow polyaluminium chloride is generally produced by drum drying or spray tower drying, and it comes in two solid forms: flake and powder.
Uses of polyaluminium chloride:
1. Purification and recycling: river water, reservoir water, groundwater; Industrial water purification, recovery of useful substances from waste residue, promotion of coal powder sedimentation in coal washing wastewater, and recovery of starch in the starch manufacturing industry;
2. Wastewater treatment: municipal sewage, printing and dyeing wastewater, leather wastewater, fluorine-containing wastewater, heavy metal wastewater, oily wastewater, papermaking wastewater, coal washing wastewater, mining wastewater, brewing wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, meat processing wastewater.
3. Other uses: sizing in papermaking, sugar solution refining, casting molding, anti-wrinkle treatment of fabrics, catalyst carrier, pharmaceutical refining, rapid setting of cement, raw material for cosmetics.
