Ferric Chloride is brown green crystal. Ferric chloride has strong hygroscopicity, and can produce dihydrate and hexahydrate. Soluble in water, ethanol, acetone, also soluble in liquid sulfur dioxide, ethylamine, aniline. Insoluble in glycerin and phosphorus trichloride. The aqueous solution is acidic.
