Sodium Sulfate Anhydrous (Na₂SO₄) 99% - 50kg/Bag, CAS 7757-82-6, Factory Direct Supply
Sodium sulfate is a salt formed by the combination of sulfate ions and sodium ions, with the chemical formula Na2SO4. It dissolves in water, and its solution is mostly neutral. It dissolves in glycerol but is insoluble in ethanol. Inorganic compounds, high-purity, fine-grained anhydrous substances are called mirabilite. Mirabilite is a white, odorless, bitter-tasting crystalline or powdered substance with hygroscopicity. It appears as colorless, transparent, large crystals or small granular crystals. Sodium sulfate readily absorbs water when exposed to air, forming sodium sulfate decahydrate, also known as mirabilite, which is slightly alkaline. It is mainly used in the production of water glass, glass, porcelain glaze, pulp, refrigerant mixture, detergent, desiccant, dye diluent, analytical chemical reagents, pharmaceuticals, feed, etc. Sodium sulfate will transform into hexagonal crystals at 241℃. Sodium sulfate is one of the most commonly used post-treatment desiccants in organic synthesis laboratories. The upstream raw materials include sulfuric acid, caustic soda, etc.

Conclusion | Qualified |
1.Sodium sulfate is mainly used as a filler in synthetic detergents. A cooking agent used in the paper industry for manufacturing sulfate pulp. The glass industry uses it as a substitute for soda ash. The chemical industry uses it as a raw material for manufacturing sodium sulfide, sodium silicate and other chemical products. The textile industry uses it to prepare the coagulation bath for vinylon spinning. It is used as a laxative in the pharmaceutical industry. It is also used in non-ferrous metallurgy, leather and other fields.
2. It enables the formation of calcium sulphoaluminate, a hydration product, more quickly, thereby accelerating the hydration and hardening speed of cement. The dosage of sodium sulfate is generally 0.5% to 2% of the cement mass. It can increase the early strength of concrete by 50% to 100%. The 28-day strength sometimes increases and sometimes decreases, with an increase of about 10%, which varies with the type of cement, curing conditions and its dosage. It is also used as a filler in synthetic detergents and is applied in the paper industry, glass industry, chemical industry, textile industry and pharmaceutical industry, etc.
3. It can be used as an analytical reagent, such as a dehydrating agent, a digestion catalyst for nitrogen determination, and an interference suppressant in atomic absorption spectrometry analysis. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry.
4. It is used in the chemical, papermaking and glass, dye, printing and dyeing, and pharmaceutical industries. It is also applied in the manufacturing of synthetic fibers, leather, non-ferrous metallurgy, glaze, etc., and is used as an additive in detergents and soaps.
