Ammonium sulfate, referred to as ammonium sulfate, contains 20-21% nitrogen. It is a fertilizer containing nitrogen and sulfur nutrients. The product is white crystal, easily soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is acidic. Ammonium sulfate is relatively stable, and nitrogen loss does not occur at normal temperature and pressure. Ammonium sulfate can be used as seed fertilizer, top dressing and base fertilizer. Cover soil should be deep to prevent nitrogen volatilization loss of fertilizer efficiency.

Ammonium sulfate product uses and application fields
1. Ammonium sulfate is mainly used as fertilizer, suitable for various soils and crops
2. Ammonium sulfate is used as fertilizer, as well as welding flux, fabric fireproofing agent, salting-out agent and osmotic pressure regulator in medicine, etc.
3. Ammonium sulfate is used as an analytical reagent and is also used to precipitate proteins
4. Biological preparations, precipitated proteins, chromatographic analysis reagents, urine examination, preparation of culture medium in haploid breeding. Medicine is used as a salting-out agent, a catalyst for food sauce, and for the cultivation of fresh yeast to produce yeast. Also used as auxiliaries for acid dyes and deliming agents for leather. The production of hydrogen peroxide is used to make ammonium persulfate, as well as electroplating.
5. Dough conditioner; yeast nutrient. Ammonium sulfate is used as nitrogen source for yeast culture in fresh yeast production, and the dosage is not specified. The amount used as a yeast nutrient in bread is about 10% (about 0.25% of the amount of wheat flour). GB 2760-90 is listed as processing aid.
6. In the chemical industry, ammonium sulfate is used as a raw material for the production of hydrogen peroxide, ammonium alum and ammonium chloride, and in the welding industry as a flux.
7. In the electroplating industry, ammonium sulfate is used as an additive for electroplating baths.
