Na2CO3 Sodium Carbonate Soda Ash Main Raw Material of Flat Glass 50 KG / BAG
Sodium carbonate belongs to sodium salts. Sodium carbonate hydrolyzes in aqueous solution, and the carbonate ions ionized combine with hydrogen ions in water to form bicarbonate ions, resulting in a reduction of hydrogen ions in the solution and leaving only ionized hydroxide ions. Therefore, its aqueous solution is alkaline (pH=11.6). Sodium carbonate has certain corrosiveness and is relatively stable, but it can also decompose into sodium oxide and carbon dioxide at high temperatures. When exposed to the air for a long time, sodium carbonate can absorb moisture and carbon dioxide from the air to form sodium bicarbonate.

Conclusion | Premium Grade |
Soda ash is one of the important chemical raw materials, and its applications mainly include the following fields:
1. In the field of building materials, soda ash, as one of the main raw materials for flat glass, provides sodium ions for reactions and is also a major component of clarifying agents.
2. In the field of chemical production, soda ash is widely used to manufacture products such as sodium silicate (commonly known as water glass or water glass), sodium bicarbonate (commonly known as baking soda), sodium fluoride, and dichromate.
3. In the field of dyeing and metallurgy, soda ash serves as a water softener in the textile production process, or as a co-solvent in smelting, a flotation agent in mineral processing, and a desulfurizer in steelmaking, etc.
4. In the field of food processing, soda ash, as an additive for noodles, serves as a neutralizer, leavening agent, buffer, and dough conditioner, enhancing the texture and softness of the noodles. It can also be used as a major auxiliary additive in the production of monosodium glutamate and soy sauce.
In addition, soda ash is widely used in environmental protection desulfurization, pharmaceutical products, leather tanning, papermaking, etc. High-end soda ash can also be used in the manufacturing of picture tube glass shells and optical glass.
