Urotropine is a white powdery, crystalline substance, odorless and sweet, and it has an irritating effect on the skin. It has stable storage properties in the air, but is prone to moisture absorption and caking. When heated to above 100℃ under normal pressure, there is a small amount of volatilization and decomposition, but it can volatilize by 18.38% within 40 hours of long-term heating. It begins to sublimate when heated to 280℃, but does not melt.
