Hexamine Powder Urotropin 25 KG / BAG To Be Used As Military Fuel
Ulotropine is a white to light yellow crystalline powder. Combustible. Almost odorless, sweet and bitter. Soluble in water, ethanol, chloroform and other organic solvents, insoluble in benzene, carbon tetrachloride, and insoluble in gasoline. When the temperature rises to 300 ° C, hydrogen cyanide is released, and when the temperature continues to rise, it is decomposed into methane, hydrogen and nitrogen.
Ulotropine is decomposed into ammonia and formaldehyde in a weak acid solution. When in contact with a flame, it burns immediately and produces a smokeless flame. It's volatile. Flammable in case of open fire or high heat. It can be mixed with an oxidizing agent to form an explosive mixture, and large contact with nitro fibers can cause combustion. Reacts violently in contact with sodium peroxide. Its vapor is heavier than air and tends to gather in low places.

1. Ulotropine is used as a curing agent of resins and plastics, a catalyst and blowing agent of amino plastics, an accelerator of rubber vulcanization (accelerator h), an anti-shrinkage agent of textiles, etc.
2. It is used as a raw material for organic synthesis.
3. It is used as a disinfectant for the urinary system, with its antibacterial effect, effective against gram-negative bacteria. 20% of its solution can be used to treat armpit odor, sweaty feet, ringworm, and so on. It is mixed with sodium hydroxide and sodium phenol and can be used as a phosgene absorber in gas masks.
4. It is also used in the manufacture of insecticides. Reaction with fuming nitric acid can produce highly explosive cyclone explosive, referred to as RDX.
5. At the same time, ulotropine can be used as a reagent for the determination of bismuth, indium, manganese, cobalt, thorium, platinum, magnesium, lithium, copper, uranium, beryllium, tellurium, bromide, iodide, and other chromatography reagents.
6. Ulotropine is a commonly used military fuel.
