96% PFA Paraformaldehyde Used as Sterilant, Disinfectant and Fumigant
PFA is a white flammable crystalline powder with formaldehyde odor. Melting point 121~123℃. Flash point 71.1℃. Autoignition point is 300℃. Dissolves slowly in cold water and quickly in hot water. Releases formaldehyde in aqueous solutions. The solubility in water at 20°C is 0. 24g/lOOcm3 H2 0. Insoluble in ethanol. Soluble in caustic soda and potassium solutions.
