Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) is a copolymer of acrylamide and acrylate. It is a water-soluble linear polymer flocculant. The particles are adsorbed to each other under the bridging effect of the polymer active gene, and finally form larger flocs. Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a water-soluble polymer polyelectrolyte, which is easily soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone. Its molecular chain has cationic groups and active adsorption groups, which can reduce the zeta potential in water through electric neutralization and adsorption bridging, so that suspended particles and negatively charged water-soluble substances in water are destabilized, flocculated, and form larger The flocs can cause the suspended matter to settle or float, so as to achieve the purpose of purifying water. Nonionic polyacrylamide (NPAM) molecular chain contains a certain amount of polar genes, which can adsorb solid particles suspended in water and form large flocs between particles. It accelerates the sedimentation of the particles in the suspension, has a very obvious effect of accelerating the clarification of the solution, and promoting filtration.
