China Chemical News: On December 24, the U.S. Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) and PetroChina (Shanghai) New Materials Research Institute reached a cooperation to accelerate the research and discovery of new chemical materials through CAS's SciFinder Discovery Platform.
CAS introduced that it provides solutions and services for content and knowledge management that accelerate innovation, and has created a comprehensive and industry-renowned scientific information resource, the CAS content collection, which covers more than 150 years of scientific discoveries around the world. CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform is CAS's authoritative scientific information solution. By using this platform, scientists in research institutions can more efficiently discover relevant technical information, identify and optimize synthetic routes through comprehensive retrosynthetic analysis of known and unknown substances, and find, compare and analyze scientific methods through the CAS content collection.
