Production Process of Baking Soda
Baking soda, also known as sodium bicarbonate, has important uses in industry, food, culture and other fields. Industrial baking soda is an important chemical raw material. In the food industry, baking soda is an important food additive and leavening agent, and in the aquaculture industry, baking soda is an indispensable feed additive in the industry. Therefore, baking soda has a very important position.
The production process of baking soda is generally divided into three kinds: the synthetic method, the compound decomposition method, and the natural method.
The synthesis method is also known as soda ash method and soda ash carbonization method. Under normal circumstances, the device of the synthesis method will be built with the equipment of soda ash, which is convenient to directly use the high-temperature soda ash produced by the calcination system of this process and accelerate the process of mother liquefied soda. Because to ensure the full decomposition of excessive sodium bicarbonate in the mother liquor during the entire operation, a high material temperature must be maintained, so the synthesis method is also called the high temperature alkali process.
There is also a common baking soda production method called the compound decomposition method, compound decomposition method mainly uses natural brine as raw materials to produce baking soda, so it is also called the natural brine method. The process is to decompose the brine with agricultural ammonium bicarbonate, and then precipitate from the solution to obtain baking soda after treatment.
